Gloster Fancy Canary

The Gloster Fancy Canary is a great choice for someone getting a bird for the first time.

They like wide open spaces, so make sure to get them a big cage. They also like to be up high. Have at least 1 perch set high in the cage for them to roost [go to bed]. They also like to take a bath, so a bird bath is really important for them.

They eat canary seed and rape seed. You can get vitamin coated canary seed at your local pet store. They also like green vegetables and a cuttlebone.They are good-natured and friendly. They are happy with just a swing to entertain themselves with.
