Finch Breeds
FEATHERS tip!
" The first few times you speak to your new pet bird get down lower than your bird, close your eyes and speak to them very softly. Birds feel comfortable and relaxed when they are higher than anyone else. "
Finch Breeds

There are hundreds of birds that belong to the Finch Breed. Many of them have been pets to humans going back as far as 500 years ago.

They have strong, stubby beaks [sometimes really big compared to their body] and love to eat seeds. When they fly they will start by flapping their wings and then close them and just glide through the air.

Most of these guys are great singers !
